Beauty Secrets
By Peggy June

Mother is all things beautiful to me -
Always I remember her pretty face
Pretty clothes, pretty hats and shoes and smell
Pretty house, pretty tables, pretty food.
But mostly I remember her beautiful ways -
Her smile, her laugh, her love.
Her always, always giving - to her family
Her friends, to all those in need of her beauty.

From what magic well she is able to draw
To be able to give her beauty away
Yet become more radiant each day -
One can only surmise, but it's clear
Her secret comes from within, not without
And the love-spring never runs dry.
