Bees are a-buzzin'

And the song birds a-hummin'

And the chipmunks play the chimes.

Beavers are the drummers

And the skunks are the strummers

And the raccoons sing the rhymes.  

 

Rabbits are the thumpers,

Squirrels little organ pumpers

For the pipes of forest trees.

The wind blows and stills

So the flowers at their wills

           Conduct symphonies with the breeze.
