For four years, Peggy June wrote a newspaper column entitled "The Scarlet Pumpernickel" which can be viewed on this site.  Her later writings include the children's and adult stories, songs and poems on these pages. She is married to Michael Kent, and they are the parents of Shae D'lyn, Kim Lashelle, and Michael  (now deceased), and the grandparents of Tristyn, Lauren, Addison, Graham, and Grayson.

Michael Kent is an actor/singer who spent more than 20 years in education as a teacher, writer, and director of professional education organizations. Since starting his acting career, he has appeared in principal roles in numerous off and off-off Broadway productions; in the national tours of Camelot and Titanic; in dozens of regional and stock productions, including A Man for All Seasons, Fiddler on the Roof, Shenandoah, 1776, The Most Happy Fella, South Pacific, and Our Town; and on TV in several soap operas, "Seventh Heaven," and "Law and Order." He will be seen in the upcoming film, "Kate and Leopold," starring Meg Ryan.

Shae D'lyn is an actress who currently plays Jane on ABC TV's "Dharma and Greg."  She has starred in over 30 plays, including Tennessee Williams' Tiger Tail in New York last summer, and has been seen in feature films - "Vegas Vacation," "365 Girls a Year" (not yet released), and in many TV films, including Hallmark Hall of Fame's "Secrets," "Ghost Mom," Arthur Miller's "The American Clock," and "Awake to Danger."  Her guest TV appearances include "Quantum Leap," "Law and Order," and "Ellen." 

Randy Becker is an actor who starred in the Tony-award winning Broadway play, Love, Valour, Compassion and in the critically acclaimed movie of the same title.  In addition to other film credits, he has played principal roles in off-Broadway productions as well as numerous others.  Mr. Becker produced Tiger Tail in New York. His guest TV appearances include  a recurring role on "Jack and Jill,"  and roles on "Beggars and Choosers," "Pacific Blue," "Party of Five," and "The X Files." He plays Sam in the movie, "Magic Adobo," to be released next summer.  

Kim Lashelle, M. Ed., has her Master's Degree in Elementary School Counseling, and has several years' experience as an elementary school counselor. She was also the director of a pre-school, and worked for several years with underprivileged and homeless youth in several non-profit settings. She and her husband, Bob, have five year old twins, Graham and Addison, and a one year old daughter, Grayson.

Bob Macom is a National Certified Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Marriage and Family Therapist employed in full time private practice.

Dana Lynn is the Branch Administrator of a financial investment firm and the mother of Tristyn, 14, and Lauren, 12.  Her husband, Michael (deceased), was the son of Peggy June and Michael Kent.

Most of the drawings on these pages were done by Tristyn, Lauren, Graham, Addison, and Grayson at varying ages.
