Title: Moon Child

She came to me from out of night

On wispy wings of silken light,

And carried me on monlight beams

To star-filled seas in silvered dreams.

We danced across the midnight sky

And sang to Lyra’s song on high,

On Saturn’s rings of pastel hues,

We swirled and whirled in giddy slews.

Then rode on Halley’s fiery trails

To sights eclipsing Homer’s tales,

At last to sail the Milkyway

Its gleaming seas in grand array.

My heart felt then the ebb and flow

Of love’s swift tide that bathed it so;

I knew this Moon Child then to be

A love for God’s eternity.
